It's rather mysterious and not only for us, common readers, even experts of writing styles and literaly critics can't exactly reason of the amazing success of Agatha Christies books. Her style is rather simple, without any "ornaments", certainly it's not "Shakespeare alike" and inspite of it you can't stop read it till the end. And immediately after read over you want more books. Like a drug... What is the secret of her writing? At least I can't explain it, I only know she's my number one of crimi writers. Agatha Christie writes very simply, natural and informal. It's like to listen someones talking. Talking brief, compact and eloquent, without any useless word. And I can read her stories again and again, and that is something I cannot say about many other authors of good detective stories :-). /

Nie len pre nás, bežných čitateľov, je to dosť záhané, ani odborníci na štýly písania a literárni kritici nevedia celkom presne zdôvodniť úžasný úspech kníh Agathy Christie. Jej štýl je dosť jednoduchý, bez akýchkoľvek "ozdôb", určite to nie je "Shakespeare" a napriek tomu nemôžeš prestať čítať až do konca. A po prečítaní chceš hneď ďalšiu knihu. Ako droga... Čo je tajomstvom jej písania? Ja aspoň to neviem vysvetliť, viem len, že je mojím číslom jedna medzi spisovateľmi detektívok. Agatha Christie píše veľmi jednoducho, prirodzene a hovorovo. Je to ako počúvať rozprávanie. Rozprávanie stručné, kompaktné a výstižné, bez jediného zbytočného slova. A môžem čítať jej príbehy stále znovu, a to je niečo, čo nemôžem povedať o mnohých iných autoroch dobrých detektívok. :-).
